Inspired by the layered brocades of southwest China. Diagonal clove hitches build up diamond motifs round after round; at every turn of the pattern a faceted red bead is set in, catching light as the wrist moves.
The dark-green jade bead is both a visual pause and the clasp. Each bracelet takes about three days to complete.
